Nice to learn another name for Gliricidium sepium, which has just
finished its annual January
two weeks of flowering, although more pink and white than lilac. In this
part of the world Gliricidium is widely used as a boundary marker and
known simply as 'the fence tree' since a branch cut off the tree and put
in the ground quickly roots and becomes another tree.
