Sorry to resurrect the subject at this late stage but
I have been away for the summer and only just caught
up on my email. In Natal nobody calls it 'Natal plum',
it's called by its Zulu name, Amatungulu. (Or its Tamil
name which I have NO idea how to spell) Far more
sensible than the English alternatives. It makes a
beautiful jelly by the way.
