Re: Fw: Private Tour of Would Famous Camellia Garden [in California]

Here's the text I read at the Garden Talk site. As I read it, the message was *posted* on
the 20th, but the tour will be scheduled for a date in *February*. So we still have a chance:

"We have all been invited to tour a wonderful Camellia garden right here in Walnut Creek.
Bob, the owner and winner of many awards
and new plant patents, has generously opened his garden for us. He has about 4000 plants
with more than 800 different varieties of
Camellias! He thinks that this may be the largest collection in the world.

We can select any date in February and you are welcome to bring friends. There is really
no limit on the number of visitors - but please
no little children. Bring your camera and tripods because the garden is under a canopy of
trees and it is fairly dark. If you would like, we
could meet at my house before or after and brown bag a lunch.

Many of the plants will be available for sale at the annual Camellia Society sale in
March.

I have visited the garden and it is gorgeous, huge and wonderful!! It will be a day to remember!!!"
