Hi Chas:
Well at 80 years I imagine you are old enough to remember the Aunt Jemima
commercial "Aunt Jemima, what took you so long?".
So, Aunt Jemima you are not, but what took you so long?
Yes, it is a joke as I suppose you did not really have control. <grin>
I am a great grandfather. Well, pretty darn good one anyway and another duck
is in the oven. That makes five grandsons, one great grandson and let's see
what happens in April.
I hope not April 1, but we just lost a 91-year-old neighbor who was born on
Apr.2, 1911. He used to say "I was almost a fool" and with my silly sense of
humor I would tell him that it looked like he was a fool plus one. Yep, I
smiled when I said that, podnuh.
Congratulation! You are entering a whole new world, but the best thing about
grandchildren is that you can play with them and all, but when you get tired
of them or they get tired of you, you can simply give them back to the
parent. <grin>
