I am considering introducing earthworms into my
coastal garden for all the obvious reasons. After searching the net I still have
a few questions. Can anyone help?
>> What type of earthworm is best i.e
reproduces quickly and is suitable to the conditions described
below ?
>> Details of a supplier of this specific
type?
>> Will an increase in earthworms attract
moles to the garden?
>> The 'soil' in my garden is acid and sandy
(fast draining) with few nutrients and, although mulched, is exposed
to hot, salty wind and high temperatures. What effect will this have on the
reproduction, and eventual size, of the earthworm population?
Any other general info would be appreciated.
