Re: Rockery plants/Geraniaceae

Last Sunday, Robin Parer was the guest speaker for the  UCSC Arboretum
Benefit Lecture Series. Amongst the 80 plus hardy Geranuims, Pelargoniums,
Erodiums and Monsoniums she mentioned were many that would be appropriate
for rock gardens. Robin was smitten by these plants some time ago and is
now an expert on the South African and "hardy" Geraniums. Her enthusiasm is
infectious and her slide/talk was delightful.

A few people I spoke to had been to Robin's garden and said it is quite
amazing. One can see it, and her small nursery, by appointment. Her

helpful information about these wonderful plants.
