Tipped Fremontodendron update

Back around the first of the month, I'd mentioned that
I had a Fremontodendron that had tipped due to strong
winds. I sort of left it to its own devices, intending
to do something when looking at it the other day, I
noticed something curious.

It righted itself.

The trunks are sitting relatively upright and it looks
like it did before the tip.

I wonder if they do this, or perhaps the winds that
blow from the west helped to push it back the other
way? (It had been leaning towards the west).
