Santa Cruz County

Some are still without power. There were landslides closing the big highways. Many trees were down, including a few redwoods. Surfers had a orgy - strange none of them drowned. In my garden - a gigantic mess of branches and leaves that will take days to clean up - one gorgeous salvia blown apart. Nearly all the vines torn from their supports.
I don't know about others but I am sick and tired of getting up to a cold house, with temps always high 30s. The heating bill will be enormous. bill grant
