Re: Man-go, Men-go, or Mon-go?

Since I have not personally grown mango, this conversation is rapidly
getting out of my depth. For much more details, I suggest you go to the
Mango "fruit facts" sheet at the California Rare Fruit Growers web site:

http://www.crfg.org/pubs/ff/mango.html

I do know that at least one CRFG member was able to get fruit in Santa
Clara (near San Jose, California -- 50 miles south of San Francisco) and
another may have fruit by now near Orinda (5 miles east of Berkeley). Some
varieties are much more cold tolerant than others.
