Dear Bob,
Possible sources for Salvia dombeyi include the Cabrillo College annual
plant sale held Friday-Sunday of Mothers Day weekend in Soquel,
California and Western Hills Nursery in Occidental, California. This
Salvia is quite tender and its availability is probably limited at best.
Best grown up a trellis or over an archway where it can find support and
the pendent red flowers can prominently hang.
A reminder to everyone posting on Medit-Plants. Please list the hardiness
zone, city or county and country you garden in so we help you find plants
or give advice for possible plants.
Its turning into a wonderfully wet winter in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Spring should be spectacular!
