Re: buddleia

Interesting that you are asking this question right now, as one of my
buddleias seems to have bit the dust in the course of a week or two.
I have two buddlea "golden glow," both yellow -flowered beauties.
Both get watered once every 4 days on drip irrigation, both were
about 7 feet tall and beautiful, one in full sun and one in half-day
sun. The leaves on the one in half day sun suddenly turned yellow
and the entire thing seems to have died. This is similar to the
sudden death suffered by not one, but two anisodontea bushes in the
last few years -- both about this time of year. It has been
unusually humid here in San Diego and I wonder if that has anything
to do with it. By the way, the anisodontea and the buddlea were in
two different areas of the garden.
