It grows very well with or without water (better with). Blooms in
Berkeley, California 10 months of the year, with most of the flowers at
about 2nd story (that's the first floor for the europeans) window
height. White with brown & yelkow centers. Bees love it.
It helps to occasionally cut it back almost to the ground. Will grow
15+ feet in height in a year. It is a wonderful screening plant,
because its leaves are so huge. If it gets too much shade here,
it attracts lots of scale.
