edibles modified

To All;
I guess I should have been a bit more clear.  I really do only want to use the flowers for decoration.  I intend to pick them off the whipped cream icing as I serve.  I know that some plants in a matter of minutes could  contaminate the icing with enough irritant to be a problem, so if anyone has any line on this, I would love it.  The problem with the ones I know are safe, is that I have almost none of them in my garden blooming at the moment, besides lavender, and I was going for a bright tropical theme!  So much for the Martha Stewart in me - she would have every possible plant available at all times on one of her estates so that she could have them express air mailed to whichever bungalow she happened to be frequenting at the time.  Alas, we mere mortals will have to make do. (My apologies to our international friends for that rambling.)
