I am not clear if the original request is for
something narrow that could be planted symmetrically
on both sides of the driveway and would handle the sun
and shade? Plants that look equally good under both
conditions and grow the same are few and far between,
but the Lobelia laxiflora and Myrsine africana are two
that would serve the purpose, if this is the intent...
