I got one of these last year. On one of the plant forums I have a friend
from Valencia, Venezuela. Anyway, I got an e-mail from my 'friend'
requesting something similar to your e-mail. I did a little sleuthing on
the incoming ip addresses and discovered that the e-mail really came from
Nigeria. So I actually did respond to the e-mail and asked where I should
send the Western Union money gram to. I was given an address in London. I
then reported the address and IP address to a site in London that deals with
such issues as well as the Internet provider in Nigeria.
I never did hear what happened.
