Gee, I've never grown lemon grass. But on a trip to Baja several years ago
we were treated to a tour of the village around San Borja Mission. Old
mission grapes and such . . . and lemon grass. I don't recall much about it
(except the smell), but it was growing without much attention near the
oasis. Seemed to be doing just fine. We were there in July (a very
miserable, hot July). Spent more time in the water at LA Bay and on land.
