Come to Australia ! -Sydney should be 12-20C in August sept or you could go
south to the snow.

We have had on of the wettest winters I have seen.
The elnino ossiclation just keeps moving up ( predicting more rain)
according to theTV news
Even the inland areas- in drought for years - are in flood.
The snowfields have had some of the best snow for years.
Very cold here down to 3C last night. (We are a few K from the sea.)
Last two days clear and sunny but very windy.
How do you grow meditteranean plants in a climate that has wet winters AND
wet humid summers!!!!
In fact I don't think we have a climate (Sydney-ish) as such more just
"weather"
The southern highlands (of NSW) will start their garden festival soon (
sept) - lots of English style gardens. the blue moutains will also be in
spring finery lots of gardens to see. some very english in style and lots
of medit plants.
PS had a look at the 2000 olympic site yesterday thousands of trees being
planted - very impressive.
