Thanks for the update. Your blue plastic stick-in-the-dirt label says "15"
orange w/ green centers SUM/FALL perennial." There was a hand-lettered sign
at the nursery above the plant that indicated it was a native of Turkey and
had 5" orange flowers with green centers. If the flowers are smaller and
pink, it won't bother me too much. Mine has yet to bloom. I've left it in
the container, since I know poppies don't usually transplant very well. I'm
hoping it will flower and set seed so I can experiment with it myself.
