RE: Passiflora blooms

One way to make a passaflora flower stay open longer,
if you really want to enjoy it for more than one day,
is to pick the flower just after it has opened and then, in the 
center of the stigma put a drop of hot wax. Then float the
blossoms in water.  Its the best way I know to enjoy the
brief bloomers just a little bit longer.

Yes.  Some species last a few days; some last one day.
