I haven't grown either, but my encyclopedia has the following
information:
P lewisii
State flower of Idaho(in case you are interested!)
Clusters of cream flowers (up to 2" across) in mid-spring, occasionally
also during the warmer months.
Stems may reach 10ft and can become woody and untidy if not pruned after
flowering. It does best in part shade and will not tolerate prolonged
dry periods.
The variety "Miniature Schmitt" is only 3ft tall with white double
flowers.
Zones 6-9
P mexicanus
Evergreen shrub with very fragrant cream single flowers set amid oval
green leaves.
Moderately frost tender, it grows to a height of 10-20ft with a spread
of 6ft. Prefers a protected part-shaded position
Zones 9-10
That's all it gives, hope it is enough to be helpful
