Gary Matson

Well, if enough folks do have interest, let me mention that I would spell
his name correctly on his garden site. I was thinking about this quite a bit
yesterday - perhaps I should have slowed down a bit while typing to you all
about it.

I too have been alarmed in the rise of hate related crimes, not just here
but everywhere. Who gets hated seems to change but the hate itself seems to
be very in fashion. I like it that our virtual garden for Gary would be a
small statement from so many places that it's not in style with everyone.
Perhaps we could give out a small "stop the violence" icon from the home
page, should people like to take one for their sites.

Anyway, I mainly wanted to apologize for misspelling his name on my last
post - I was horrified when the first post came in saying something had
happened and have been following the news since. Sadly, like others, I could
guess almost at once the likely explanation which does say something tragic
about the state of things, I guess. I mourn good men lost too soon, for no
reason that makes any sense at all. I will miss his mail.
