Speaking of Agapanthus, has
anybody grown and flowered the
Agapanthus "purple cloud", its supposed
to be lavender-purple, and not just
light blue as other "lilac" cultivars
have claimed.....?

Jerry,
A. africanus is widely grown and used in Northern Spain. It is not
difficult to find at nurseries and garden centers. I just checked and
our friend and co-list-member Mr.Filippi lists it in the catalogue of
his nursery in Meze, near Sete (Southern France).
I will eat my hat if she cannot get this plant almost anywhere in
that region!
