Not really a mediterranean climate-related item, but of perhaps of
interest anyway. Certainly an opportunity to visit these famous
gardens many of which have wonderful mediterranean climate
appropriate plantings (palms, succulents).
For those of you unfamiliar with 'hortisexuality', this is apparently
a distinct symptomology that afflicts various SF Bay Area plant
enthusiasts who tend to meet with random periodicity to view interesting
and down-right weird gardens which are locally abundant. They also
keep each other informed of current sightings of fantastic floristic
phenomenon.
Knowing there are some members of Medit-Plants who are influenced by
hortisexuality, and that there are no doubt others here who might be
'closeted', I could not resist passing this to the group.
