Now what can I offer as a swap for some of these seeds? <VBG>
Eccremocarpus?

Campanula vidalii has withstood minus 2C on several occasions here in
South Devon without showing any signs of distress. I suspect longer
durations might cause problems with it and certainly if there isn't a
reasonable temperature rise after frost, it may also suffer. Here, it
is rare for temperatures not to rise by at least 5C on the coldest of
days, so a few hours at minus 1C or 2C are rapidly followed by
temperatures of at least 5 - 7C. Not enough for some plants, but
sufficient respite for this Campanula.

My plant gets full sun for the entire day, grows in very poor, dust
dry soil and is given no water whatsoever in summer. It does most of
its growing in autumn, late winter and early spring, but is very slow
at this time of year. The mirror like gloss on those leaves really
takes some beating - you almost need shades to look at them.
