I've offered to help my friend redo her tiny 'courtyard' (20' x 9') which at
the moment is covered in a mixture of York stone and tiles. We want to
reuse the York stone and lose the tiles, but don't know how to take them up.
My DIY book suggests a sledgehammer, but I'm worried about damaging the
structure of the house, the walls of which surround the yard on all sides.
Could someone please advise?
(Any suggestions for shade loving medit climbers also gratefully accepted).
