This dwarf bamboo is Pleioblastus viridistriatus (formerly known as
Arundinaria auricoma, or A. viridistriatus). I also have a plain
golden-leafed form of it. You may not want to let either one out of a pot.
They are aggressive spreaders--read INVASIVE! Cut them right to the ground
in winter so that they will put on all new, clean foliage.
