Re: Leucophyllum frutescens


This is a very reliable plant in Southern California, Marilyn, I 
don't see any reason to be wary of it.   In fact, I saw it growing 
very happily in a garden in the foothills of the Pasadena area a few 
weeks ago on the Medt Garden Society tour. They were in flower nicely 
(both green and grey leaved varieties though they were not labeled so 
I do not know their identities) though we had had neither rain nor 
heat.
