Mystery Metrosideros (picture links), AND a mystery plant (or two)

I mentioned a while ago seeing a form of Metrosideros
with markedly yellow green foliage. I have shots of it
and what appear to be a typical form about ten feet
near it.

They aren't as detailed as I'd have liked because i
accidentally had the cam on a low res setting, but the
pictures do allow you to see the color of the foliage.
I was also a bit leery of getting too close because
i'm not sure if the highway patrol would appreciate me
climbing the hill :).

A not so good shot, but shows color:

A much better shot showing the color of the new
foliage. You can also see the red flowers on the side
of the plant out of the wind.

This is the typical gray green form i've seen
everywhere. It was about 10 feet away and down the
embankment. It had no flowers, but i can assure you it
looks like every gray green metrosideros i've ever
seen.

This is a picture of the flower clusters on some of
the new Metrosideros planted alongside a new road in
town:

Closer image of the flower clusters:

One of the lighter red flowered varieties

A deeper red flowered form (the picture is a bit
darker, but this one was darker than the others in
flower at the same time).

So, that's the Metrosideros in town that are blooming.
I'm seeing them much more. Here's the mystery (or
two).

While I was out snapping photos of these plants, I
also took advantage of it and took photos of the
chapparal just outside of my city (which is all on
former Army base land). Lots of things were in bloom
or just so, such as the Sticky Monkey Flower (mimulus)
and the Adenostoma. Lupinus nanus and California
Poppies were two.

One bush which i had never seen before and am at a
loss as to what it is looked something like an oak (it
tricked me in passing when driving), but up close it
wasn't an oak. It has pendulous clusters of white,
fuzzy berries and bright green leaves, wavy along the
edges. The berries seemed to be taking on a reddish
hue.

Here are some photos:

One of the plants. This one had less curly edged
leaves:

Same type of plant but with long racemes of tightly
packed berries. When i plucked a bunch to see what it
was, the berries squished and i had some slightly
purple juice on my fingers that had an acidic aroma to
it.

An image of one of the racemes of berries and one of
the leaves.

Any idea as to what it is?

Also, on one of the other plants of the same type was
a fine viney plant, with white berries, some of the
berries a grayish purple color The picture is
difficult to discern, i know (apologies)

Any ideas as to this one?
