I personally like the idea of the small clay pots of the broken pots....we all have tons of these.
Thought I would mention something about the expensive plastic plant tags.....a friend of mine introduced me to a less expensive way to label your cuttings and/or seedlings in your nursery garden....use the inexpensive plastic mini blinds from your discount market. You can buy the 72" wide, 72" long for around $8.00 and cut them into the length you need and I find that pencil works really well on these and I've never had the pencil fade.
