Dear group of delightful wisdom -Hi Ann
Someone who knows me well just brought me two Maireana sedifolia's. Can anyone out there enlighten me as to what this plant's needs and habits are? In appearance it is an intriguing, flexible, almost rubbery, breed of silver coral.

It is an Australian member of the Goosefoot family (Chenopodiaceae) and grows to form a small shrub (3ft by 3ft) is hardy to 20°F. The flowers are insignificant but it is apparently useful for cut foliage.
This refernce gives full information about soil and culture.
The accompanying picture shows a plant in the Los Angeles Arbortetum.
