Thanks to everyone who responded to my inquiry about favorite California native and other Mediterranean climate bulbs. I had such a huge list that my article was almost twice the requested size! Still it was a fascinating subject and I am now motivated to try some bulbs that are not currently in my repertoire! That's what is fun about the work I do - there's always something new to try and to learn!
