Re: Childhood plant memories


Squidging berries mostly - I liked the feel of rowan berries (Sorbus aucuparia) underfoot on the pavement and Mahonia berries between the fingers for the purple juice.
I used to enjoy meeting the red spider mites when I went crawling underneath the strawberry nets. Shame I can't feel so positively about them now!
