A date with a palm

In the 1950s I bought a home in Palm Springs in So. California. Nearby was a spot where one could get a Date Palm Malt. It was one of the greatest drinks you could imagine. In fact, if I had one at lunch I did not need to eat dinner that night. So I do know a spot in California where the trees produce dates. Ah, memories. bill grant
