[medit-plants] Re: SACRAMENTO NURSERY?

There are great nurseries, but he should start with Green Acres. It's a large local nursery with 4 branches. They're online for addresses closest to him, which may vary depending on where in Sacramento he is. For a large wholesale/retail type nursery there is Village Nurseries out on South Bradshaw Lane, and for small local places there is Talini's and Fair Oaks Nurseries, but these may have been those he visited already. Tell him to try Green Acres.

Subject: [medit-plants] SACRAMENTO NURSERY?

Hi Gardeners -

A gardening friend from the Bay Area recently moved to Sacramento and has been disappointed not to find any nursery that carries a variety of interesting perennials, shrubs and trees. Those he’s visited have had very limited selections and seem to focus on annuals. Does anyone know of an independent or specialist nursery for avid gardeners in the Sacramento area? He will be eternally grateful for any suggestions you can offer.

Many thanks,
Sylvia Sykora
