I have the greatest ground cover for my needs but I can't find
anyone who can identify it. One person said they called it "mouse ears"
although I can't imagine why. Another nursery person said it was
scarlet pimpernel but I compared it to the picture in my wildflower
book and the leaves are not at all the same. It is a creeper that
becomes very thick and invasive - bright green fan shaped leaves with
small light orange flowers. By controlling it, I find it a grand
substitute for grass and by wielding the weed eater just over the top of
it, I can keep it in control - plus yanking it out of places I don't want
it. It takes very little water. Oh yes, it will climb up walls, over,
under anything. Can anyone help me identify this?
