One of my favorite references is the wonderful Siskiyou Rare
Plant Nursery catalog from Baldassare Mineo in Southern Oregon. His
selection of plants is quite varied and interesting, incorporating
all sort of plants suitable to growing in 'normal' or rock gardens.
I always try and keep a copy on hand (though it seems I'm always
giving them away to interested friends as I cannot find a recent
copy!). And there seems to be general agreement about the high
quality of plants they ship throughout the US & Canada. A definite
'check out' catalog whether or not you ever order from them. Here
