Asimina triloba (paw-paw) and tea tree (Eugenia?)

Ciao Medits!
This month's issue of the Garden, journal of the RHS, says that in the US
paw-paws are quite popular. Does any of you out there grow it? I'd love to
hear your experiences and comments. How hardy is it, specially in terms of
Summer drought and/or winter gales? I am planning to improve my garden with
unusual fruiting trees, and I'd like to try paw-paw.
Second question: an English lady I met some time ago sang praises of a "Tea
tree" oil, which she said is a wonderful, all-round ointement, useful to
prevent cavities, to cure scratches and headaches, etc. She did not know
what plant it was, though, and this "oil" is unknown in Italian market. I
don't remember why I got the impression it could have been any of the
Eugenias. Any information about it?

As for visiting me in the future...if any of you (Sean?) is willing to
organize a Med-list tour here, I will love to help planning the tour and
welcome you in Italy! But of course I will also be happy to meet any of you
individually.

Ciao
