I've had a Passiflora manicata in a container since last year, but it hasn't
shown any flowers so far. Last year it was in a very sunny position and it
produced a lot of leaves, probably also because I gave it too much
fertilizer. I have repotted it this spring in a slightly bigger container
and it is growing well, but until now no flowerbuds. My caerulea which I
planted in the garden last year has a lot of flowerbuds that are about to
open any day now. I have read that P.manicata is more reluctant to flower
since it prefers rather cool weather. That's why I had positioned in
half-shade this spring. I also let some shoots hang as it should promote
flowering. All this without much effect yet. Anyone here who has some
experience with variety ? Am I too impatient ?
Thanks a lot in advance.
