announcing the Medit-Plants web site project

Fellow Medit-Plants subscribers - 

I'd like to introduce you to the Mediterranean Climate Gardening web
site project, which many of you have no doubt heard was coming.  If
you might take a moment to view the following introductory letter:

I think you might agree that it will be a valuable resource for
gardeners in the various Mediterranean climates worldwide.  I'd like
to know what your impressions are of what we are doing.

Since this project is an outgrowth of the Medit-Plants discussion,
you folks certainly have a voice in what might go up onto the site.
While many technically complex ideas have been put forth in the
past, the format of this site is intentionally simple in order to
respect those persons viewig the site from simpler browsers and
over long distances.  I am certainly interested in talking with any
of you who feel they might have something to contribute to the
pages of this site.  I am expecially interested at the moment in
photos of garden plantings using species/cultivars of interest to
our group, either public or private.

Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.  This project
is completely non-profit.
