Ah now you're talking Tim. I'm not a great lover of 'Cranebills' but
the giant of them all - G. maderense is something else. It does well
down here and I've a couple of plants each well over 5 ft tall in
flower at the moment. The seed set looks as though its going to be
very good and I've already got a few seedlings from the earliest
flowers. G. maderense has been in full flower with me since late
April and I suspect it will be the end of July before all of the
flowers are finished.
