I have had no luck with Corydalis lutea either, but C. cheilanthifolia
and C. ocroleuca are definitely on the thuggish side in my garden and I
have no trouble growing the new (to cultivation here) blue-flowered
cultivars such as "Blue Panda".
I always wonder about this, as I remember C lutea as a beautiful weed on
rock walls and many other odd spots around a garden I once knew in the
south of England.
