Those of you in
California may be interested to know that any event called "Bulborama 2000" is
taking place on April 15 & 16, 2000 at Ayres Hall, Los Angeles County
Arboretum, 301 North Baldwin Avenue, Arcadia California. It is being
sponsored by the International Bulb Society and the Southern California
Hemerocallis
Lectures, slide
shows, and demonstrations of various bulbs will take place at this
event.
The speakers include
several individuals from the Huntington Botanical Garden, Santa Ana Botanic
Garden (in Claremont), and Jim Duggan of Escondido Gardens.
It appears that
there will be several lectures on Mediterranean type bulbs.

Cost is $20 per
attendee for one day and $35.00 for both days.
