How did you get frost in USDA Zone 10b/11? Was your
winter more severe than normal?

Oh yes, and Spring is busting out all over here, as
well. Last weekend I went on a hike on Corona Heights,
a small patch of "wildlands" a few blocks from the
Muni metro station. Lovely lupines, Eschscholtzia,
Sidalcea, etc. in full bloom.
