Dietes robinsoniana

Has anyone had experience in flowering this plant.  Mine is about 10 years old, look happy and coming up to 5 ft. but never flowered.  I understand this dietes gets to 6ft so I am wondering whether it just has'nt got to flowering size and is one of those plants that you have to wait 20 years for.  I hope not. Don't know if it has some particular soil requirements, thought maybe lime as it come from a small island.  Any info would be appreciated.
