Kudos to Christy Edstrom O'hara and Michelle Torres-Grant!
The weekend in San Luis Obispo was a huge success.

I know I had a good time in part because the area
is so beautful, but their outstanding organizational
skills; insights and humor allowed us to learn and
view so much more.

The registration form was excellent. Along with
the schedule it included some Nurseries/Shops,
Places to go/ Things to See, Restaurants and
Vistors Information.

The presenters were first rate as well. Tom Eltzroth
and Meg Able had an inspiring enthusiasm for "their
gardens" at Leaning Pine. Jeffrey Smith dazzeled us
with his gorgeous design commissions and pithy wit.
Ron Kindig was the perfect ambassador for the San
Luis Obispo Botanical Garden. His plant info sheets
and labels are fantastic! And finally, my thanks to
the Levines for their warm welcome and for Ken's
excellent plant adaptation tour.

I will not go on as I'm sure someone has written a
more complete and eloquent piece for the newsletter.
Suffice it to say a good time was had by all!
