Carex testacea

Hope everyone is enjoying their gardens!  Spring has
finally arrived in Seattle!

I was wondering if anyone has cut back their Carex
testacea?  I heard that this one doesn't grow back if
it's been cut back.  Let me know if you have and what
the results were, and it's also helpful to know where
you're located.  Weatherwise, we're not exactly a med
climate, but we sure do try to grow the plants!
