My expert is Marina Welham in British Columbia.

And she says:   "Yes it is an Aloe .. with the tallest Aloe flowers I've ever seen. There are so many look-alikes they would have to do a search on Google images and keep looking until they see one in flower with flowers this tall."

A succulent nursery owner gave us this plant as a bonus because the tag was lost. Finally it blooms. Does anybody know what it is?
