Capparis spinosa..thanks

Thank you all for advice.  I am going try the perlite first and then try Cali's idea of putting it inside a ripe fig in Autumn.  Do you think I should scarify it first?  I also read about putting it in hot water.............. I am not that happy about putting seeds in hot water, it could virtually cook them?? Are you
