Maloof is supposed to be wonderful. List member Jan Smithen has been raving about it. I adore the landscape at Pitzer College in Claremont (wrote about it for the LA Times and for Pacific Horticulture Magazine either last year or the year before). If you are willing to drive a bit, The Living Desert Museum in Palm Desert is delightful Or head to Santa Barbara to Lotusland which is unbelievable. Just the parks in the Santa Barbara area are well worth the trip, Alice Keck Park, Franchesi Park and others established by or for our botanical forebearers. Anyone else?
