Thanks to all who have responded both publicly and privately. Unfortunately, I am still not sure what I have. I have posted a small photo of a cutting showing the thin leaves on my plant - none of the pictures I have seen seem to match them:
Sorry about the size of the photo, but I pruned the mother plants back hard a few weeks ago and they are not yet ready for their closeup.
It only grows about 3' tall in our very dry garden (watered lightly every two weeks in summer), but does root where the branches touch the ground. Fragrance is sweeter but just as minty as what I have been calling T. lemmonii. This one flowers heavily in the spring and then lightly through to mid-summer - the flowers are slightly smaller than T. lemmonii, but otherwise very similar.
